Board Meeting Minutes — All Accessible Sports Complex & Park, Inc.

Melissa Eaton, Sally Grimm, Jeff Williams, John Pekar, Ed Gamble, Derek Upp, Brock Newman

III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

Brock Newman made a motion to accept Jeff Williams 2nd motion, all voted to accept the minutes of December 18th, 2024, meeting.

IV. BUSINESS:

1. Balance in funds - $710,221.14. Fairfield County Foundation 35 hour give match was $1,382.93. $300.00 of funds has been sent to Lancaster Chamber of Commerce for membership.
2. MOU Agreement with Lancaster Rotary has been finalized and signed.
3. Jeff Williams and Mike Lieber with Lancaster Rotary Club did a segment on Downhome with Tina to talk about that ballpark and park plans and partnership with the two organizations. Melissa Eaton and Mike Lieber also did a segment with Paul Jassogne on Fairfield Today.
4. New website updates are ongoing courtesy of WebChick. Discussed certain items to include on website as well as items to get rid of. Other updates include possible brochures, updated meeting minutes and general updates on the project.
5. Jeff Williams raised questions about whether there would be a cost to hold the field for certain events through the Lancaster Parks Department. Melissa Eaton to investigate.
6. Lancaster Parks updated and stated playground would be right next to the ball field. Lancaster Parks assured us that there would be plenty of parking, including handicap parking for all visitors. Plans for ballfield are 2026 after the completion of the water plant.
7. The board spoke about fundraising opportunities and ideas for the future to help raise money. Lancaster Rotary Club is holding a “Battle of Bands” in September which our organization is delighted to help assist with in any capacity. The board was asked to come up with some fundraiser ideas and discuss them at the April board meeting.
8. Next Meeting will be Wednesday, April 23rd at 6:00pm at Christy’s Pizza at 1436 Tiki Lane, Lancaster Ohio 43130.
